Hi Dan:

I also just purchase a K & M Stand, only I choose the Omega with the second tear.
In fact will arrive next few days.
18810(Stand)with the 18813 (Optional Second Tear).
I also use pedals and need something with foot-switches room.

I've been using the Spider Pro for about 2 years, with the mic attachment and Ipad holder, I lover it, nothing else set's up as fast or looks as cool.

Probably one of the best lines I carry. Made like a tank, and almost as heavy

I bought a Spider pro w/ Mic attachment from Frankie and just love it,.. I use it on stage every gig,...super sturdy and very easy to set up,....best part vs the Apex there's space for your feet, pedals, etc....great KB Stand..

btw, I also have a like new Ultimate Support IQ-3000 KB stand
for sale if anyone is interested..IMO the best X stand made.

The k&m BABY model is less high. So it's better for me who is playing sit down.
However, it's still too much for me.
I don't like to have something in front of me when playing for gigs.
I will try to sit higher...
