I've heard the BK-9 doesn't have a speaker system on board. If this is true, I would be able to manage at home, but what about 'gigging' - any ideas!

Yes... would two CM-10 cube amps be the LIGHTEST combo that would give comparable output to the Korg Pa800, for example? (By comparison the Korg Pa800's internal speaker system is rated at 22 Watts per channel.) Also would the CM-10's sound muddy on the floor? Do they need to be on stands? Inquiring minds want to know! -Ted

Here's another thought - I am wondering whether a boom/sound box could be used? (similar to that used by the Korg PA3X.
