"He Stopped Loving Her Today" is probably the MOST requested country song - EVER! The world of music will definitely miss George Jones.

Was scheduled to play behind him in Lexington in 1977. Was a "no show". Found him in a room at the venue a day later.

I knew a guy from Maryland who had a southern drawl like he was from Arkansas or something.

Russ- I guess that is why G.J. had the nickname "No Show Jones",
and even wrote a song about it.
