Just got my new pa3x so some questions.
Does the calibration have anything to do with how easy or hard it is to select on the touch screen.
Sometimes I seem to be touching 5 or 6 times before anything happens.

Yes, it "reads" how you touch the area selected and adjusts to your aim. If it's finiky - try using the tip of your fingernail on the spot - seems to work better that way. Light touch is OK, just be presise with location.

Thank you dave. You seem very knowledgeable on the korg.
Let me ask you one other question.
In the advanced manual, there is a list of multisamples that do not seem to be anywhere on the KB. If they are in the sys, what do I have to do. I can't seem to get much info on them at all.

Hmmmm, I don't have the advanced manual handy, but is it possible that those multi-samples are only in styles? They might need specific velocity triggering to be effective, so they may not be available to play with your hands. Just a guess.

Yes. Like the trouble I get in with UNOHOO. Only the depth varies.
