Now that I've received and installed Fred's program, I'm looking for some help doing what I'd like to do. I know that some in here are experienced and look to them for assistance.
What I want to do is this: I have an SD card that has all of the tunes on it that the Casinos perform. This is my "master" SD. I'd like to re-do the master SD and re-organize the songs per the "sets" that we do so that everything is in proper order, rather than me jumping around to the 3 different folders I've created. That's project #1. Project #2 involves creating set lists for our 1-hour show, as well as the Show we're going to do with the Platters (we're doing around 10 songs). That way, I have separate SD's for both the 1-hr show, as well as one for the Platters show (which we'll repeat at different venues). I just didn't want to go in mucking around taking the chance that I'll mess something up, thus the request for some input from you more experienced SD-Explorer users...thanks in advance for any assistance. Jim H.

Jim, I'll contact you by email, but I'm a bit tied up at present with 'family matters', until next week.........

I'm assuming that all these Casinos songs are settings - maybe sequenced - for your KN7000 as distinct from audio files (e.g. MP3s)
That being the case why don't you just start new folders on your SD Card - you've got 99 folders to play with - and load and then save each song in exactly the right order for project 1 and then again for project two.
Another way is to use the 'favorites'facility on the KN7000 to have them in the order you want them.
Neither of these two approaches involves using Fred's program.

Jim, Roger has a good approach. I use the Favorite Songs function for almost exactly the purpose you want. Select the yellow SD button, then the third item on the left "Favorite Songs". See top of page 150 of your manual.

The Favorite Songs that you list, are on the SD card that you are using. If you have different venues that need different songs or play lists, you can use a different SD card for each venue and the list of songs in your play list will be shown at the first page of favorite songs in that SD card. All of the SD cards can be identical except for the Favorite Songs list.

Favorite Songs are not necessarily songs. In my case they are all song setups. They are simply a link to a specific location on the SD card and they load whatever is at that SD card location.

Thanks guys, I may end up having to use your approach (after spending $$ for Fred's program). He talks about "registering" the program, and describes how to do it, but I simply can't make it work. He says to save the license to the d-top (or wherever you want to put it) then opening the SD Explorer main page..this is where I run into problems and have been unable to open any "main" page. Supposedly, once you get the main page opened, you click on Help -> register. I can't find any main page, at least not yet anyway.

I did at least figure out how to get the software registered (what Fred doesn't mention is that you have to put an SD card in the card reader). I'm thinking that rather than clogging up the forum with a ton of posts, if someone is familiar with using SD Explorer, they could send me an email and I can list my questions in email format...my email is keyboard.king@yahoo.com The questions are basic stuff, nothing complicated (I hope). And yes Roger, these are all Technics files, no MP3's etc. The tunes we do are fairly easy, so the pre-programmed LH rhythms have worked out fine.

One final thing Jim - be wary when buying new SD Cards as they are mostly now SDHC which is useless in the KN7000.
