I'm proud to show off my longtime good buddy Manuel Dorantes' new keyboard demo for Yamaha, showcasing the Banda Voice and Style Expansion Pack for the S950.
Maunel, you're looking great man! Congratulations on both your demo presentation as well as impressive weight loss. Here's wishing you a terrific time representing Yamaha Corp @ Namm this year. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to Namm this year, but perhaps in 2014. - Scott
Congratulations Manuel! It’s great to see you doing a demo for Yamaha. It makes very good business sense for Yamaha to finally produce some styles that would appeal to the Mexican market. In Mexico it’s not at all unusual to see OMB performing in public at a variety of venues like hotels, restaurants, street side cafes, bars, and all sorts of socials events. Most of the keyboardist that I’ve seen playing in Mexico use entry to mid-priced Yamaha keyboards and when they play music from their own country they have to resort to using often times sub-par 3rd party styles. Hopefully Yamaha will keep producing more authentic contemporary styles like bachata and reggaeton.

I would suspect that the pack would work with the 750 and 950 as well as the T4. Not sure, but you may want to check with Yamaha Customer Service just to be on the safe side.
Cheers,
Gary

The Banda pack only works on the 650 - the 650 has less memory for loading the voices and therefore the samples/waveforms are smaller and of poorer quality. I doubt anyone would be happy with those playing on their S950 or A2000.
