Good day my friend,

As you know, my Korg PA50SD is loaded full with some of your resources & the best of all other styles I could find for it.

I have a demo version of EMC Styleworks. I am just done converting over eight thousand of my best Yamaha styles for my Audya. Now I want to start on the Korg.

My question to you sir: How do I extract all the styles on my Korg to individual, singular styles so that I can convert for the Audya?

Your help in this regard will be so much appreciated.

Keep well my talented friend,

Henni

Hello Henni

Not sure if I understand you correctly but let me start by saying I have never ever worked with EMC or similar program.
Do I understand correctly that you want to extract the factory styles from the PA50 so that you can process them with this conversion program ?
If so the solution should not be too difficult because on any Korg PA arranger you can switch off the "factory style protect" ( somewhere in Utilities, page 7 I believe) and then you can save either a bank, or a single style onto SD card or USB, and take it from there.
If your question means different please enlighten me/us !!

best wishes,
John

Hi John,

I do not have a single original factory style on my Korg - I replaced them all with new ones.

So yes, I want EVERY style in the factory part, User memory & SD card available as single individual styles. Do I have to go & save each of them seperately then? If so, I've not used my Korg since my Audya. Won't you please be so kind as to give me a quick rundown on how to achieve this? My demo version of EMC expires soon & I do batch conversions, else it would take far too long.

Thank you so much my friend,

Henni

Hi John,

Thank you so much for your kindness. Is there perhaps any program that will automatically extract the individual styles from those bank.style folders?

Kind regards,

Henni

There used to be one by an Italian guy but as far as I know it does not work anymore. However this might help in a way, just check it out yourself:
