Bought the new Mini iPad this morning. Got the 32G version and downloaded all my apps on it. RETURNED IT TONIGHT!!

If you already have a full size iPad don't waste your money. Not a thing new or different from my big one.

Agree...just smaller and not that much cheaper.

I disagree - it's lighter and perfect fit for one hand if you're reading. As a large iPod/jukebox for my breaks/DJ work - it's perfect! I love it so much, I gave my full sized iPad to my daughter for college! I love me, my toys.

Plus ... it's sits so pretty on top of this shiny new, BLACK psr s-950.

I think I lean toward Dave on this one - I reckon it would certainly make a neat "player" next to the main iPad..IE run charts on the big one, and midis/mp3's on the other...plus it could be a backup chart reader at 7" something the iPhone can not do!!

Now if only Dan could port vArranger over to iPad wink

If I read charts more, I might not have ditched the full sized iPad, but this is not all that much smaller, and it's MUCH lighter... such a pleasure to hold.
My main function for this is
1. Juke Box
2. note taker (for school)
3. internet surfboard

In that case Dave, the smaller iPad would be perfect. And it's a bit cheaper too...much better than any 7" android device in any case. I put the ipad aside a little while back to try Android - I lasted about 4 days!!

Android is just sooo buggy and glitchy compared to iOS, even ICS (or Ice Cream Sandwich-Android ver 4.01)...which everyone raved about.

I absolutely LOVE this thing. Even more than the iPad2, which I loved back then! ... and - it's got SIRI, too!

Ya know...I've just checked it out, and may have changed my mind. It looks much easier to handle, the price is more reasonable, and can do everything it's big brother can. A visit to the Apple store for me...sometimes smaller IS better. smile

I've been typing on the smaller screen, and it only took about 5 minutes to adjust to the smaller letters. I was never a good typist anyway, so I'm very easily adaptable. The more I play with it - the better I like it!

Love my Android pad. Different strokes, I guess.
