Hi,

Maybe this is old story, but I want to ask somebody to refresh me.

My audya mic channels have distorsion sometimes. Ketron dealer suggested me to try the voicetrion with several type of mics and find the best one. I tried it with Shure SM58; Shure Beta58; AKG several types...and some noname mics were tested too. No succes.
I also observed (Yesterday) that the distorsion is hearing from out3&4 more ferquently than from main output.

Dealer also said that my audya had contain imporved resirtors/components which could eliminate any distorsion...

My audya has V4.0;

What should I do to get perfect (distorsion free) output?

Thanks,

Szoke

All I can suggest is that you carefully check the levels. I have the mic outputs set to maximum on the screen. If the input is too high it will distort.
I have used my Audya with SM58, Sennheiser, AKG, Samson, Heil and others with no problems at all.
When I first got it, there was distortion until I got the levels, e.q. and effects set right.
I don't have it in front of me so I can't tell you the exact settings right nowl.
I am running 4.0 also.
