Hi All,

I was wondering about this feature which no one seems to throw much light on. How does this work and how effective is it. Can we play WAV/MP3 files through the USB on which this can be used??

Any comments from the first hand S950 users would be useful!

Thanks

Sunny

I have seen this facility on several mixers, and on a couple of arrangers. It never works great, because it doesn't take out the reverb of the vocal. I wouldn't expect it to be any different on this keyboard.

Correctomundo Don clap .....I agree it just drops out the MID Frequencies leaving a pale vocal sound that you can still hear thru the mix headphone ......on some songs work better then others....just another bad gimmicky feature this goes for many products that boast this magical scenario buyer beware IMO. wink

As soon as I hear of "vocal cancel" I know it's going to be a waste of time.

Yep, you'd think the technology that would do this effect successfully would be around by now. Guess not, though. If it is, I sure haven't heard it. Come to that, I'd never use it, anyway.
