Bernie, Check out the specifications of the Musicpad Pro. Some have an operating range, and that 17.5-volt power supply may exceed that range. However, if it falls within the range, which is usually 12 to 20-VDC, then you should be safe. Good Luck, Gary

Oh oh, this not the case. The voltage is higher, but seems to be fine, and the tip fits. I am not sure whether to chance it now, but it has been fine for hours.
