I am elderly and am finding it increasingly difficult transporting a Tyros3 to functions. To this end,am considering a Korg PA800 which has the speakers built in. What a I need to know(not having set eyes on a Korg PA800 let alone heard a demo of my era of music) how do the two compare. As I have mentioned, I am elderly, and accordingly my music is of the pre 1960 era. Your guidance would be appreciated. Regards Jim

Jim, coming from Yamaha, there will be a big learning curve for you.
Having said this, the speakers are good on the PA800 and there are plenty of styles for older music.
Have you considered PSR 910? It has a similar operating system to the Tyros 3, and has onboard speakers as well. I used to play in a restaurant with the PSR900, its predecessor, with just the speakers.
My opinion is that you will be happier sticking with the operating system you already know.

Jim, please: what kind of functions? What type of music will you be playing? This will help me give you a proper answer to your question -- I owned the Tyros 3 and sold it to buy a Pa 800.
