What is great, what bugs you? (especially if compared to tyros or psr910 if you can)

I did try it in the store so I have general idea. I have to say I like the tyros, but it is just totally crazy expensive here. They PA3X is at least 30% cheaper here so I am thinking maybe that one.
Give me your honest opinion vs. Tyros.

There is a pretty deep discussion on Korg Forums:
http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/v...ca37eaf4d959868

I have found the PA3X to have better operating features for real-time use. The operating system is pretty good, but there will be a learning curve coming from Yamaha. The Songbook feature is wonderful, and the ability to edit and change things is great, and easy.
Yamaha has those wonderful presets in the OTS for right-hand sounds. You can get good sounds from Korg too but you will have to dig around a little.
There is an update scheduled for June 1 that will make it even better.
Key size and feel are great on the PA3X. The Vocal Harmonizer is outstanding, far better than the Yamaha.
It's a little heavier than the PSR, but smaller, a little lighter, and far easier to carry than the Tyros.
You will have the ability to edit, delete, move and over-write all Factory styles on the Korg.
You CAN NOT audition styles from USB; they have to be loaded into the User or Favorite Banks to try them. Not a big deal, but not as easy as Yamaha to try things out.
It has a Chord Sequencer that you might find useful for real-time looping.
It has a light-weight 5-switch pedal board that is great and easy to use (optional), in addition to two foot pedals.
After you get the Korg, you will think "why did I do this", but after playing it and getting used to it, you will say "I LOVE this thing!"
Ask any specific questions if you wish.

Thanks Don.
For my weird reason I use a lot the score display on the PSR from midi files, how does that work on Korg?

"I LOVE this thing!"

I haven't quite reached that point. I still prefer the KN7000 for playability, but each has its own good qualities.

I have a Pa800 Korg and I agree with the above statement. Now that I understand how to use my Korg I found I do not look back. I can make my Pa800 sounds exactly as I want it to.

The score display works quite well. I really haven't used it except to try it out though. Maybe someone else can answer better.

I should probably bring my USB stick to the store to check the score out.
Also does the long booting time bothers anybody?

The "why did I do this", I kind of understand, I demoed the pa3x and I flat out didn't like the out at all, tried the tyros 4 and loved the out.
But then I am not paying $5000 for tyros, that what they ask here - it is probably wiser to wait what yamaha will come up with next. It is about time for them to make the move.

There is no long booting time on mine. I don't have any samples loaded though. It takes maybe 30 seconds to boot, although I've never timed it. I turn it on and by the time I turn on my laptop and mixer and digital recorded, it's ready to go.
