Con we convert a WAV or MP3 file to a Ketron DJ loop file?
The files in the Audya have a DJL extension.
Is possible to make a conversion?

Quote from the description of the software:
"The DJL Compiler runs exclusively on Windows Xp, 2000 and 98 platforms (* TM)"

I noticed this word: exclusively.
Even if a lot of software will run OK at Win7, anyone tested that this is compatible? New computers of today usually not equipped with old OS as XP and before that time....

Could anyone please explain why is there a need for the DJ Loops? what can you do about them that you cannot do with the casual MP3\WAV?

Thanks TWD !!!

Thinking of using DJL as a replacements for what in Korg arrangers are known as PADS (I love them).

Thats ok... I have yet to try it.

The DJ loops are like interactive backing tracks; audio loops that you can control in real time using the arranger parts/fills/intros & endings that stream directly from the hard drive.

The chord sequences are fixed as they are part of the recorded audio loop so you can sing and play over the top. They are perfect for improvising or getting inspiration.

yes, but different is that you can associate pad to style
- in ketron cannot sync djloop with style, that's bad
infact only dj can use it, for a normal player can sync djloop to style would be fantastic for add example "dance drums in real time (not with 2. drum track " but more

Agree. That is the beauty of the Korg arrangers.
