Returned my Korg microSTATION.
Added slightly used Yamaha PSR-S910 to my collection.
My keyboard quiver is full!

Tim,
I had a PSR-910 - you will get a lot of enjoyment from it.
Let us know how it goes.

Good on you Tim. I told you in my mail to you it would be a worthwile consideration. After all the Micro offers little extra if you already have the PA500. You now have got the best of both worlds ,albeit not the top of the range, and,I presume, in a very attractive deal. smile smile

best of luck,
John

Actually John, the reason I got rid of the microSTATION is due to the fact that I have access to the KRONOS at the church where I work. When you have access to a KRONOS, who needs a microSTATION?

Attractive deal? I'd say so...mint condition demo S910 - $1400, minus trade-in of microSTATION = $1080.

Deane, Thanks - I am certain I will enjoy. I used to own one previously. When I bought my Clavinova CVP509, I thought I wouldn't need/want the 910 any longer. After all, the CVP509 is an 88 key hammer-action version of the Tyros 3 (without the 4 pads) - so I sold it almost 2 yrs ago. I actually missed it quite a bit and when this opportunity came up I went for the 910 - even though it's probably going to be replaced by Yamaha by the end of this year.

I find playing the 910 arranger more satisfying than playing the Clavinova as an arranger, basically because the key action on the 910 is much quicker and responsive than the piano feel of the Clavinova which shines as a piano, as well it should for the price!
