I got a Fishman Soloamp today, so far, I'm impressed. This is for singer-songwriter gigs, guitar/vocal. Its competition (for me) is the Compact. I have L1 Classic, but the base is too heavy for my liking.

Does the compact carry case have room for anything else? Mic, cables?

Does anyone know... could you somehow rig up the tower/case so you can carry a mic stand with it? I guess you could wrap some bungee cords around!

Lastly, nothing to do with Compact, but anyone know of a very lightweight, yet strong folding stool? With footrest.

Bill, there is a pocket on the back of the Bose Compact bag. It will hold power cord, cable and a mic for sure.
I have a folding stool I got at Walmart that works pretty good.
Stop by when you get a chance, bring the Fisherman and we'll compare to Bose Compact.
