Hello Ketron_AJ,
USB problem is solved upon changing the cable. Thanks for your promt reply. I want to know one more thing if MIDJAY is MIDI with SD-5 is it possible to synchronize an audio loop with the rhythm section of a Style and the .WAV file is automatically loaded as soon as the Style is called up? as I want to run Indian Drum loops to make my styles which is not possible on SD-5 as the keyboard is not having any Indian Drum & Percussion sounds which can be used while recording user patterns.
regards,

rolandg.

rolandg,

This is possible. What you will need to do is

* Record the wave file parts (Arranger A, B, C and D) plus others if needed as different wave parts

* Use the DJLoop Compiler to convert/transfer these files into DG Loops. These loops will be assigned to the Arranger A-D parts as required.

* Set the BPM to match the initial/natural BPM of the style.

* Next, use the style (with the REMIX feature) to acheive using the style together with the audio loops.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

AJ

PS: This operation is independent of the SD5!!

Dear AJ,
Thanks for the promt and quick reply. I am requesting you to explain me how to use DJ loop complier to convert .wav file into the DJ loops to assign them as style parts? Is it done on the MIDJAY or any additional software is required? I am asking you this as I could not found anything on this conversion procedure in the user manual.

Thanks

rolandg.

rolandg,

This is done via external software on your mac/pc (software available at www.ketron.it - Software - DJ Loop Compiler).

Using the software is easy. Select the part (e.g. Arr A) and then select (on the right) the wave file (from any source ...) you want to associate with Arr A. Repeat for Arr B. Arr C. ..etc/. When done, save the new DJ-Loop.

Connect your Midijay to your mac/pc and copy this new DJ file into the SFX or DJ Loop folder of the Midijay - where the other loops are located.

Thanks,

AJ
