Don i also have Audya4 i'd suggest install normally as i did, then test the crap out of it, style to style, fills, hold on, off, breaks, etc IF you get bass dropouts, please let AJ know AJ has asked me to download and install OS from Ketron Site, just in case my Pen was corrupt or incomplete,

UPDATE...
i have FINALLY figured out what's up with my Bass Guitar Dropouts i want to APOLOGIZE for thinking or blaming the AUDYA 4's new 4.2b OS
it was not the OS it was not a power issue it was not an AUDYA4 hardware (bass slider) issue it was something quite simple and non-AUDYA related
what was causing my Bass Guitar Dropouts was my Controller, my AKAI MPK61
specifically, it was my second slider which i had long ago assigned to control my Bass Volume this slider was somehow stuck, constantly sending out Midi Channel 5, Controller 07, Data/Vol 00, so it was dirty i assume, or stuck sending this Volume Off to my bass, all i had to do was move the slider on my CONTROLLER a few times up and down, and all is good now
again, sorry if i scared anyone away from updating or gave the AUDYA some "negative" criticism and sorry AJ if you wasted your time looking into this.
i'm just happy that i can go into this weekends wedding gig knowing that my bass player will show up :-)
