I presume the first one is designed for Status Quo numbers, however it has obviously been programmed (And sol voices selected) by someone who has never heard Status Quo, and hasn’t a clue what they sound like.

It’s seldom that Yamaha make a really bad style, but that one definitely needs sending to the recycle bin.

Fortunately the second one is up to their usual standard, so will be ideal for those that like pre-set styles.

The second ones is a keeper!

Just curious, do many of you buy Premium styles on a regular basis.

I've bought one, so far. The "French Swing!"

yeah I buy styles from Yamaha all the time. I'd buy even more if they made styles that I really need (real, authentic, comtemporay Latin) Not the British/ballroom version of Latin.

I don't know about the styles above, but these styles are very useful and can be purchased at the Yamaha Musicsoft website. $39.95 for 7 very good and useful styles is not bad at all.

Thanks Al for bringing those styles to our attention. I think I'll pick those up once I get a pay check (sucks to be poor)

BTW, the first once (Barry Disco) is obviously for a Barry White song. Which one? It's really bugging me- it's on the tip of my tounge....
