Called my buddy Don, who told me that Hank was a long-time bass player now playing with a rock-a-billy group. He suggested that I give him a call. We had a great visit. The result? I'm soon to be the owner of a Santucci treble bass instrument (10 strings-stereo out for use with bass and guitar amps). I'm cranked, because in the 70's I played a single with a 335 with heavy strings thru a Leslie and a drum machine. Played dances, believe it or not. I think this monster would sound great played that way. One of my current favorites is Charlie Hunter, who plays simultaneous bass and guitar on a custom, multi-string instrument, sometimes through a Leslie. Give him a listen...you'll be amaised. It's really something to see him perform live, which I've done 4 or 5 times.

Thanks, Hank...great to visit. With you and Don in the same area, I feel a quick road trip coming on.

All the best.

Russ
