I have a roland rd300gx in a semi-rigid case. Is it okay to store it upright leaning against the wall or does it have to lay horizontal on it's back end?

I would store it horizontal. The mechanical weighted keyboard has been designed for that position. There is no telling what may happen to the alignment of the weighted keys being stored standing on its end ( I presume that is the postion you are talking about ). That is my thought anyway. While the electronics would be fine it would be a shame if the keybed got wacky.

Nigel,

Nedimīs had his MS on end on the floor for a while, I think you right it should be flat even if you never play it again, you can allways kick it every time you pass it or fall over it, serve to remind you own much you paid for if you stub you toe, ouch! ouch!
