Looking at the feature list on the New Hammond Sk1, I was very please to see they have included a TRANSPOSE button...for us singers this is a godsend...Bravo Hammond & at 15 lbs? cant wait to try one.

I also wonder what Piano sample they have in the SK1..sounds wonderful?

Yes, and did you notice the player was using rootless voicing?

Sounds great...the piano is very good...the electric piano is a little too plasticky, at least in that clip.

The clavinet is good too.

The Leslie sim is really nice.

Looking forward to trying one.

Yep, that is a very good piano.

What way would you use the SK1, Donny?

With a module, or as an addition to your PSR-S910, although I can't see the latter as you do so many gigs per day, that anything extra would just be in the way?

I really like the SA JazzRotary, and SA RockRotary on the PSR-S910...actually, they are samples of a Hammond...would you need that much variety in organ sounds to warrant an SK1?

Mine is ordered, with an ETA of 6/6/11. I'll let you know...
Plan to use it as my "one nighter" keyboard for single piano/keys (been using a little NP-30, believe it or not), and my primary keyboard for the smaller trio jobs. May try it with the Midjay.
