Hi all,
before comming to the original topic, I should say alittle about me.
I am a 18 years old student from India.
I am completely visually challenged and working in a fusion band as a keyboard and sound editor.
so, you can imagine why I have raced the question of accessibility.
courrently I am using a yamaha product and I like the sounds of Korg very very much. recently I have to buy a keyboard because my old yamaha is a worst
1.
I ran through the internet and found there is only 1 Korg product available (Korg Pa50-SD) which doesn't come with a touch screen.
that mean, being a visually challenged, I can freely use this product very well.
I have read the manual completely and feel very happy with the product.
but moreover, I have fallen in love with Korg pa500-ort as the sounds inspired very much.
now, the question is, Can I use Korg pa500 without the touch feature?
to be very frank, I no need to create any style, change the effect parameters, song editing, etc.
my faithful "Cakewalk sonar 8.5 producer" is quite helpful for that.
even if I need these stuff, I can get help from my sighted friends.
as a stage performer, I need to change the programs, performances, styles, use transpose features, use split features, mute/unmute tracks, solo/unsolo
tracks, etc.
can anyone tell me what are the limitations?
a lot of my friends suggest me to buy yamaha psr-3000 but I like Korg very much.
even they love the sounds of Korg, but the accessibility lean them back!
sorry for my long post but you can inagine the importance!
waiting for your kind reply!
