Is it possible to convert midi's created on SD1 to GM. I have made many files but would now like to play files on GM Player.

BlueNote,

The SD1 already stores/records files in standard midi file format. The only thing you have to do is mute the Live Drums (DRUM2) from the ARRANVER VIEW window before you record. Other machines will not be able to interpret this information coming from this track and will assign a default of PIANO which will play distrubing sounds.

Thanks,

AJ

You should only have to mute or delete the second drum track..Some GM instruments may already ignore the track if it is system exclusive..
