Due to the lack of documentation from Ketron, need input from users on the following questions:

1- How easy or difficult is to configure a MIDI keyboard with the Audya4?
2- Can a keyboard with USB midi can be configure for the Audya4?

I can't find any documentation from Ketron about this issue.

Thanks

Configure a midi keyboard with the Audya4 is very simply.
You find in page78 of the Audya Main Manual.

Press: MENU -> MIDI

You can save the MIDI settings in five Preset,
assigned to the USER buttons from 1 to 5:
General: General Preset
Master1: Master Keyboard Preset
Master2: Second Master Keyboard Preset
Accord1: MIDI accordion Preset
Accord2: Second MIDI accordion Prese

A keyboard with USB midi I dont know. But I think is possible.

The USB port on the back of AUDYA can be used for ...

A. Data transfer between AUDYA's Hard Drive and your computer (in which case MENU - MIDI - UTILITY - USB MIDI = "--")

OR

B. MIDI communication with external USB Midi divices (in which case USB MIDI = "ON".) [which is the answer to your case above]

The ON/OFF is set by pressing F6 to toggle between both values.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

AJ
