I'm going to buy a ketron for sure. i checked out other keyboards (korg pa1x and roland g70) and ketron sounds much better in terms of bass, drums and styles.
some things i find less than perfect:
1. sampler is limited in features and memory
2. pitch wheel is imposible! bad location and design. can't get used to it.
3. with the exception of great pianos, organs and one guitar sound (power guitar) voices are not as good as they should be. especialy strings.
are the drums bass and styles on the sd5 sound as good as the sd1? i can live without the sampler and use my old s1000, and i rarly use a sequencer. i also don't need as many keys as long as rhythm section sounds good.

zzprod,

You can't go wrong with the SD1Plus. The SD5 appears to have some short-comings for your uses/request.

Thanks,

AJ
