Forget about the SZ-JJAT1 cable Tony, this thing is outdated.
Bob has exactly what you need to communicate with your PC and your notation program... a MIDI interface with all the cables incorporated, so you don't have to buy them apart.

Bob's is -as they say - 'in the mail', and I can't wait to try it ... ... only problem is that I will be away this weekend and won't get to try it 'till Monday at the earliest .. ...

You're welcome to it, Tony. I had no use for it any more. You will most certainly have questions when you begin to use it. I will be little or no help. There are others on the forum with more current midi experience.
Tony, I think Bob's cable will be better for you, but mine is only the original type for the PC2 connection. Either way, it will work for you.
