I have now upgraded my Live Arranger module to the full version, so I can save and edit as much as I want.

I will pupt together a few style examples over the next week or so. The styles will be setup EXACTLY as I would use them at a gig.

There will not be many as I do not use many. But I am happy to post those that I do.

With most demo's using live arranger instead of Q-ranger, does this mean that the live arranger is functioning better then the Q-ranger?

Just wondering if Q-ranger is still a work in progress.

Offcourse its working... but there are 2 kinds of working... "Just working fine" and "working excellent"

Since most players seem to prefer live arranger, this could mean while Q-ranger is working okay, its still not nearly as good as live arranger.

Let me clarify a bit.

Qranger works fine as an audio arranger, Live Arranger makes it easier to use the myriad MIDI styles that are available, and in the short-term is a "quick-fix" for moments when a style at a gig is needed.

Long-term I will be learning and programming audio styles, but that is a pretty steep learning curve, especially for a performer who uses styles so little, like me

I only started the thread for those who are keen to see styles as they would be done on any of the closed arranger boards.

Now I have the activated version, it is practical for me to do it (in a time available -v- priority sense) as I can now save all my edited styles that I would use.

As I said ultimately, the goal would be to use the superior quality of audio samples to construct a style.

The other area that Q-Ranger is going to be strong in, for me anyway, is creating a style, simply by importing a full midi song, assigning markers and then using that to generate style play.

It would be the true "song based style" as it is EXACTLY the song. All the right drums, bass lines etc etc, stops, dynamics...
