Hi to all,
I'm posting from Italy. I own an SD1 but I am interested for the Midijay becasue I would like to gig with my Yamaha P80 and I am not willing to carry two keyboards

I wonder , is it possible to load onto Midijay all the styles I like and use actually with my SD1 ??
Are the 104 + 136 styles on the midijay all
editable, I mean can you substitute them with the styles you prefer??
(On the SD1 only 104 styles can be rewrited, is it the same with midyjay ??
Please help me since this matter is very important for me in order to choose to purchase the Midijay or not.
Thanks ciao Gabriele

The Midijay reads styles from internal Memory and directly/instantly from HD. If you copy all the SD1 styles into the HD (Style folder), you can instantly play them directly from the Midijay. In theory, you can hold about 9,999 styles in the STYLE folder of the Midijay ... so you see, that is a little bigger than the Sd1. The only thing is you cannot CREATE NEW PATTERNS on the Midijay (no PATTERN EDITOR), so if you can live without this, the Mididay is definately for you.

Thanks,

AJ

Many thanks for your reply. Do you know wheter while I'm using a style I can acces the hard disk page and let another style starting immediately after the one I'm currently playing ?
Thanks for your help.

Yes, you can & this applies to the other modes of MidJay.
