Hello fiends,

I talk you from Spain, sorry for my english is not good. I have a great problem for using the IDC with my tyros2. I have the Adapter USB-LAN that I received from Yamaha (USB Adapter Linksys USB200M). I use internet with my computer from a Cable modem service and have bought a Router Wireless-G Linksys (compatible with standard 802.11B and 802.11G). I install all the components in my computer (USB Adapter and Router) without problems, but when I connect all follow this:
http://music.yamaha.com/services/idc/setUp.html;jsessionid=90F33D974D5E6CC73E0568FF024761B4#Por cable

... my tyros2 show me in LCD that I have error=1001. And I can not connect.

I would like to buy a lot of styles for my tyros2 but I donīt be able to do it. Please someone can to help me please?

Best Regards from Spain.

Hi,

I have been investigate it, and the question is that I have a Adapter linksys 200M version 2, and I think that this not work fine. I need another adapter USB-LAN. Can you tell me what is exactly the adaptor that you are using without problems please and where I can buy it?

Thanks.

The adaptor I got free from Yamaha UK was the D-Link DWL-122 2.4Ghz wireless adaptor. I've had no trouble at all with this.
Check Google or Ebay to see if there are any where you live, good luck, or contact your local Yamaha shop/customer support.

Hi psrman1
I'm not sure if the PSR3000 uses the IDC?
The only thing I've used it for was to purchase the odd new style on there for the T2.
I rang Steve Marsden up at Yamaha UK and he helped me with the setting up of the adaptor as it initially seemed to have a mind of it's own.

Craig, I know it has been posted before but what steps did you take to get the cable from Yamaha?

Thanks, John C.

Hi bruno.
All I did was to go onto the Yamaha UK site and register my Tyros 2's serial number on there. Within the week the wireless adaptor had arrived.
