Hello all,

I've got several questions about G-70 and midifiles.

How can you import a large amount of midifiles in G-70 ?
Can you directly transfer midifiles between a PC and the cards (compact flash, smartmedia, ...) ?
Is there a software which allow midifiles management such as RDBM (on VA series) or Discover Database Management ?
And if no, how can you enter midifiles informations such as Artist, song name, style, index, ... ?

Thanks for your answers
Cheers
Yann

Hi Yann

1. Yes, the G-70 has a 50 MB internal memory.
2. Yes
3. I canīt answer the question at the moment, have to read the manual first.

Hi yann,

1. via USB
1. Yes you can - but you can not delete more than 1 file at a time from the internal database.
2. Not until now. I hope Roland keeps going - without that tool it's almost impossible to manage all the informations about the files in an acceptable time....
3. ....mainly because entering descriptions and these things have to be done via numeric keys displayed on the touchscreen - doubled and tripled with letters, just like typing an SMS into a cellular. I hate writing SMS ... :-)

Information about a song include: song name, file name, genre, artist. Songs can be added to categories.

regards
Christoph
