I've been so busy with Christmas parties, I haven't had time to shop. However, I'm through until the 26th, when I have a party to work for the Independence Bowl teams.
So, I'm starting my Christmas shopping today.
I could have worked Christmas Eve, but it will be nice to have that with the family for a change.
If it's warm enough, maybe I'll set up in the driveway and we can serenade the whole neighborhood with Christmas songs.
I'm gettin' in the SPIRIT now!!
Merry Christmas!
DonM

Sounds great, Don ... instead of the 'carolers' going to the neighbors' homes, the neighbors can come to yours ...
Merry Christmas, ladies and gentlemen ...

I'm working Xmas Eve and Xmas day also...
Today I participated in the
"Adopt a Patient" program at a Assisted Living facility I performed today and bought him a nice Eagles Jersey for Xmas.

That's how I roll...plenty of time to be at home.
God gave us the gift of Music.....do you know why?.....

So you can share it with the World

Merry Christmas Everyone!

I\ve been adopting a patient for a few years now...gives ya a great feeling for them to know someone cares, and he's a veteran also like me..

If I were to set up in my driveway the first thing I would need would be a 500-foot extension cord. And, considering that it's only 18 degrees f outside right now, I wouldn't make it through a half-dozen songs before being froze solid. The first song that comes to mind this time of year is "Baby It's Cold Outside."

Donny,

I think the adopt a patient program is something unique to your area--sounds like a great program though and I applaud you for being a part of it.

Merry Christmas everyone,

Gary

Oh, my, who knows, I may shop up at DonM's with Audya and geetar in two. Plus, some Ripple. And, that's dangerous.

Ripple? I think that's the stuff I used for starter fluid when I had a 1950 Ford flat-head six banger. Pour a little starter fluid in the carb, get er' rolling down the street, turn on the key and pop the clutch. She went off with a bang, cloud of smoke and ran like a scalded dog. Yep, I'm pretty sure it was Ripple.

No--Red Foxx was the creator of Ripple. And, depending upon when he mixed it with, the drink developed an entirely new name. I remember "Champipple," which was a mix of Champagne and Ripple he drank on NYE. Smooth!
