I found the video enjoyable albeit a bit campy at the same time. What stood out for me was the impressive rich sounding acoustic piano sample, and performed with just 61 notes too. Hey, I could possibly consider a Ketron for the acoustic piano sample alone, if only they released a similar digital piano only unit, and at a substantially lower cost than the Audya.

OK Donny lets see some of your work today will do I can't wait a minute longer, I thought it was pretty good maybe not to ever rockers tastenizpointzie, and to think of it de man Diki hasn't come in damming it, so it can't be all that bad. At least the things is in focus, not moving in and out, sounds clear, she can play the piano what more to you really want.

Leezone I think I am proud to be a Audya owner and thats a first!!! and thanks for finding another Audya clip that must be at least 900 around which is more than can be said for Wersi Wing and MS, come on guys say what you see!!!

This "In the Mood" is superior playing
on an arrangerkeyboard.
A great performance.

Second that!

There are a lot other videos, more than 50, and some really nice
Audya performances by this talented musician.
A real pro if I may say so. Even if use backingtrack, he sure do
his part in a brilliant way!

Cheers

Yep, that song and In The Mood above... proves to me that this is the best arranger player I've ever seen. He is fabulous. This guy could make some videos, add a strong salesmanship pitch about his talents and unique show and make a good living playing senior centers. Showing that he is really playing. Truly, a one man band.

Nothing wrong with playing over midis at all, but you 'don't need' an expensive arranger keyboard to do that.

Maybe not Scott but you have to admit that live bass and drums of the Audya sure make it more realistic.

Nick

That is the style we were taught in our music lessons back in the 30's when we ALL played like that. How many of you remember the big ETUDE music magazines that our teachers got and taught us out of. They often had duets that the teacher would play with us. In those days we didn't get a new song every week either. We stayed with the same song until we could play it perfect. Most of it was classical music too and tough stuff for us kids but we did learn. If arrangers had of been available in those days there would have been a mass revolt and every one of them would have immediately sold, depression or no
Thanks Nick and AJ for the pieces you put up.

That is what I said, or ment to say, that even if there is a bacingtrack in bottom, this guy plays brilliant with both hands.
As far as I can see he don't fake playing as too many others does.
Sorry my bad english, I can write Norwegian from now on

Cheers

It doesn't matter at all whether someone is playing over a MIDI file backing track or over auto accompaniment provided by styles. If they can perform that is all that matters. And if it makes for great entertainment then they are definately a talented entertainer.

You just gotta do whatever is needed as a vehicle for a great performance and people shouldn't get hung up on what that vehicle is. If you can do it just using styles then go ahead but if you feel that a MIDI backing track would provide a better bed to play over then do that instead. Creating a high quality MIDI file backing also requires a special talent and performance ability and should never be criticized.
