I'm betting it's a lower manual that will sit/attach under the Tyros, allowing for dual manual control....maybe becoming a stand for it, and allowing bass pedals.

There seems to be a lot of interest in dual manuals, especially on Jazzhooves, who are "organ" enthusiasts.

There has been some talk around the "water cooler" as they say...I hope they make it; I have several clients who would order one right away.

It would be ideal for you, Lee...I'm sure they'll have registrations to go with it.U

76 key lower manual...

Now if only the OS would allow to set up voices on the external keyboard parts...

If this does come to pass, then, given the view in many quarters that the T4 is already expensive enough, the $ figure might be a bit of a frightener. That said, organ enthusiasts are more likely than most to shell out big bucks for their toys. Time will tell.

Bachus,
You can already do that...
You just use the MIDI channel from the RH of the lower MIDI KB to trigger the upper sound of your choice (Actually R1-R3).
I did it on the T2 and I do it on the PA2.

What's missing is the ability to have all that included in the Registrations from Yamaha (And Music Finder, OTS's)

I'm hoping that we can use any MIDI controller KB (or Synth) we want with the new feature (If it comes)....not just a Yamaha Keybed.

If I'm going to build a custom cabinet, then I will go with a 61 or 76...if I am going to just set the T4 on the lower(using a modified 2 tier stand I have) ...then I may go 88 GHA.
