I currently have the Yamaha StagePas 150M however, wine was spilled on the mixer and I was told from my local repair shop that it can't be fixed after he changed circuits. Does anyone have any idea what I could buy as a replacement. Me and my guitar use midi files and play in a small restaurant. Looking for ideas and input

Bose L1 Compact--$995. 45-day, no-questions asked return policy for full refund if you or your audiences don't like what you hear.

Good luck on whatever you decide upon,

Gary

Samson has a great little system which is just like the Yamaha Stagepas but with an ipod dock and it has speaker stand holes on the bottom which Yamaha doesn't and the two speakers attach to each other making it very easy to carry. It called the XP308i and is 300 watts of stereo power with 8" speakers with 1" compression drivers. The street price is $499.00. They also make a 500 watt version with 10" speakers and 16 24bit effects. It sells for $699.00.

Check out the small
Carvin units. I've been playing them for nearly 40 years. The new 8 channel, 200 watts per side unit has effects, weighs slightly over 10 lbs and is matched with a variety of speakers; all in your pric3e range.

Google Carvin; they only sell direct-no availability from music stores or other on-line retailers.
