Wow James, thanks for that. It really puts things in perspective and makes me realize what a waste of time it is to sweat the little things. - Scott

Yeah, really puts things into perspective.

Also reminds me in a way of the opening sequence to the movie Contact. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGyq7d62oPQ

We are truly only a speck in the existence of something so vast that most people can't comprehend.

Cheers
James

I've always been amazed by the mysteries of the incomprehensible Universe and, now I realize, that fact has modelled my life.
In 1979 my parents went to Europe and bought the Michelle Jarre's Oxigene LP. That music fascinated me. It made my mind travel through the universe and also later Vangelis with the awesome TV series "Cosmos". That was my first aproach to electronic music and a decisive step to start playing electronic organs in 1981, synthesizers and arrangers later. The space science also induced me to the medical science, to attempt to understand the human being, seen as the result of the universe trying to understand itself. As a matter of fact the universe is somehow my religion too. Not trying to get into further debates about religion here though.

Check this video to get a closer idea of the size of the "known universe" and enjoy the music too:

A wondrous subject for sure. The trick is to be content in one's own speckosphere(?) and enjoy every day. And, for us, our keyboards go a long way to achieving just that.

As I've always said "An OMB entertainer is as insignificant as a speck of fly poop in a Mount Everest of pepper."
