Very Cool Donny....
I wish the ladies would have "shared" fours with the drummer. But..even so...very enjoyable.

These ladies COOK! I think the way they immediately and seamlessly switched from heavy lead to giving lots of clean comping backing..plenty of space for the other to stretch in.

Really enjoyable! Heard both separately, but never together before.

GOOD FIND, Donny!

Lee, what do you think of Roland's Atelier line of organs?

Nice orchestral demo...

Ian,
Well...I lik what I heard. And I like the style of playing a lot.

Maybe we put too much emphasys on having thousands of styles? Or maybe not having all that multi-channel accomanyment is nice for a change? Maybe less is more?

Cost is probably prohibitive....

But, maybe I'll find a place I can try one out?
Thanks for the link...

Lee with an arranger you have to think like a 5,6,7 pc band....but with one of these organs you really have to think like a
50 pc Orchestra!.......nice stuff and very creative playing.
Chris Hanlon does it justice!

Rhoda Scott is responsible for me selling the last B3 I had in my inventory. She did a workshop at a Hammond tech's business in the Netherlands. Some guy heard her and said "I want one of those, what is it?" The tech explained it was a Hammond B#. Somehow the guy found me in NJ and bought mine and arranged for overseas shipping. A nice late 50's walnut with a refinished leslie When I explained Rhoda usually used a Trek II string bass attachment on the pedals he bought one of those too. Then I fine out the guy doesn't play a note!! Just wanted a toy to fool with. Too much disposable cash. He was going to have both pieces rebuilt and refinished--and they were really nice already.
Barbara Dennerlin used to travel with a custom bass pedal unit she would put under whatever stock B3 they gave her for a show. Once she came into NY and customs at the airport wouldn't allow it through because they couldn't figure out what it was!! And this was way before 9/11
