Why is there not a separate manual available for Ketron Audya 4 module users.Or at least a booklet in addition to the Audya 5 keyboard manual currently available. I know that a lot of the functions are similar on both , but theres also a lot of information missing and considering the amount of A 4 modules being sold as we speak I think its time they give us a decent manual/booklet

HI Rusty,

Totally agree. I just received my A4 and I didn't even know how to hook it up to my keyboard because there is no Midi-implementation information in the manual specific to the A4 module. I would think at least a supplement would have been very helpful.

Good luck with your A4, I have mine just over a week and as you can imagine my brain is fried by now but I am getting there.
Its not fair in my opinion for users of the A4 module having to read between the lines to figure out the settings and as I said earlier its a different piece of kit in many respects and therefore should have its own manual supplied. And I'm also of the opinion that not all the bugs have been sorted out even though I have 41B installed but I will know more probably in about another week of investigating all the possibilities .
But so far I have to say I am impressed but I'm hanging on to my X4 for another few weeks just to be sure

Yes I agree,
Its not fair to A 4 users-some of who never played a keyboard or know anything about an Audya 5

And half the time you are left wondering if a particular function only applies to the A5 keyboard or does it apply to your A4 module
When I opened the supplied manual I found it was written in german so now i have to go to my computer-upstairs- to access the download of an english manual for the keyboard version they put online, and print whatever page relates to what i am doing. Very disappointed with that.
But its great to see AJ is taking note as well and we are lucky to have him as support

AJ... You'll pass the information on..?

You mean, over in Italy, they are under the impression that a new product DOESN'T NEED a comprehensive set of manuals and documentation? In English, for their English speaking sales (and all other languages for where they DO sell Ketron's)..?

Wow..! Who knew?!

Leezone,

You knew when you bought your KB there was no chance of a manual, Ketron don't do manuals, they do Manuel’s!

Well I certainly never thought that in 2010 that ketron were still shipping out units without a comprehensive manual written in plain english. And I notice that in the one they eventually supplied as a download for the keyboard A5 that there are several things that could be explained a lot better. It seems nothing has moved on since the days of the Ms3 I first purchased from them
