The SD1 alone would be enough for me... besides... it's my arranger keyboard

DanO, why do you need both? Are there advantages to having the XD3?
How is that Behringer mixer? That's the one I've been planning to use in my new setup.
Thanks,
DonM

There are advantages for my purpose .
#1. I use the for sequence playback and have the drum remix feature ( which I find very effective). The XD3 lines all songs up in alphabetical order in a folder . The SD1 list the songs differently and I never really liked it .
#2. This also allows me to basically concentrate on having the SD1 as my main keyboard for playing . When using 2 SD1's I got a little confused in the "live" performance .
#3. It's just little less confusing having the module + SD1 vs. 2 SD1's . Also the module is less bulky than the 2nd SD1 .

I am gigging Feb.22nd with this set up . I have a double .

OK ...The BEHRINGER mixer is great . Especially for the money .

I'm still working with the effects .

Dano & Others,

How are the mixer effects (any mixer) compared with a dedicated effects unit for live vocals?

OK ...for me personally , the chorus effects are what I was after . The effects on the mixer are much better than what any keyboard will provide . I will shut all the effects off on the SD1 + XD3 and use the mixer .
