Toys are made of plastic !!!

The newly arriving Tyros4 will no doubt be made of plastic.

It's the ideal material for the job at hand...light, strong, non-conductive, inexpensive.

That's why they make laptops out of it.

He sure is Tony...good thing we are aware of his antics and never take him seriously anymore.

After all those weird posts about the Audya ("I'm buying one, I'm not", "I'm buying one, I'm not"...etc.) he's lost all credibility.

when did i say i'm NOT buying an AUDYA?
i just complain about it,
and say it's too much $$$,
and say it's slow with USB1,
and say it should have 1gig RAM
and 500 gig HD
i just state the facts

and yes when the AUDYA 4 comes out,
i will test the crap out of it,
hopefully it will be bug-free
i mean with all this time Ketron is taking to release it,
it ought to be 100% rock solid

Of course not...Macbooks still use that archaic old metal...they are pretty good computers nonetheless.

I believe the CD/DVD drives are plastic.

On a more serious note, consider this...the Tyros4 is soon coming out...how long is the Audya still being finished?

Wasn't it introduced around when the T2 was launched?

They certainly aren't in any rush, and it's quite likely they may be left behind, technology-wise, not just by Yamaha, but by Korg and even Casio.
