Regards James I agree 100%...emulating closed keyboards with Giga files is actually way too complicated for the average, and yes, above average, arranger user/player. Open arrangers may be in our future, but for now, they remain a tiny part of a very small niche market. Modern closed arrangers, like the PA-series and Tyros have so many options, and sound so darn good, it would only be a very small percentage of users who would venture into open type instruments....but, I'm sure there are those who will. I'm really looking forward to hearing just how much better these open systems can sound.
