Hi,

Does anybody have a decent Meneito style that works well on the T3? I am trying to find a style to play "In The Summertime" and I really love the Memeito style in the Ketron but I can't find one that sounds anything like it for Yamaha yet.

Thanks for reading
Danny.

Just spent half an hour trying to get the SD1 converted to T3 one in some sort of working order and i've nearly managed it, just the drums are a bit lacking because i've had to use the Brush kit to hide some of the strange drum sounds, but it still sounds pretty good

Hi Danny,
it was probably the Live Drum Tambourine Kit, that was causing your problem.

When converting from ketron, (if you actually have EMC Universal) it's always worth checking to see if a Live Drum Kit is used in the style. Live Kits don't convert very well.
I load the style into the ketron module of the program first, just to check what kits have been used. Then load it in again, & convert to the format I want.

I no longer have my SD1, but it's quite possible , only tambourines were used in that track.

Ian's helped out , but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

best wishes
Rikki
