I do agree with Tony because he had a problematic board and got no assitance in getting it taken care of, but that could be part of the dealer fault, the distributor, or who knows.

Remember Ketron is a very very small company, GEM was about the same and they are now gone, so for Ketron to still be around when giants like Korg and Yamaha are dominating, how is that?

Sorry but I can only read so much before I had to give my little rant, i apologize.

I also do not work for Ketron, never got a Ketron for free, never expected to get one for free. I've tried to help people who haven't bought from me, because thier dealers sold them product with little or knowledge and cant help them, which most of the times is simple stuff.

OK back to cave.

Frank,

You give it to them, it's like you say you have helped people along the way, I don't know what the outcome is going to be but I might as well just hang on now I think we are getting close to something. People who have not bought one should sit, watch and listen, those who bought Audya are taking all the cash hits, we are the investors in Ketron INC

I belive it is a species of humanoid who have become totally dependent on technology, having long since lost all their animalistic traits and instincts. They have atrophied senses of aggression, concentrating their energies into art, music and technology. Physically they are characterized by their large craniums, huge round, lidless eyes, and tiny mouths under their fleshy face folds. They are found throughout the galaxy, from the backwater dives of the Outer Rim Territories, to the Jedi order on Coruscant during the time of the Galactic Republic.

If one's dealer or distributor or manufacturer don't help you, you make more noise to THEM... You threaten them with legal action, you threaten them with exposure of their appalling customer support, you do whatever it takes...

What you DON'T do is none of the above, but come here and make our lives miserable bitching that Ketron aren't coming out with a software upgrade to fix your problems, when it's pretty obvious it ISN'T a software problem. Instead of concentrating on bitching about your dealer's refusal to swap your unit for a functioning one (you DID ask him to do that, didn't you? ), you have made it your mission to cast doubts on the ENTIRE line.

Cast the stone at where it deserves to hit, your dealer, your country's distributor, (even yourself for not bothering to take it back and get your money returned), NOT at every last Audya... I'm all for criticism where it is due, but a campaign like this really needs accuracy of aim, IMO.

Frank,

I own an SD3, what you say doesn't make sence, why would one go and buy an Audya if you had invested in a SD5/3, surely you can see the parity here from Ketrons view they should have developed the past models along with the new release. Now Aj some time ago said they are developing more styles etc for the SD5/3 but based on what i've seen so far I'll be waiting until I see it b4 I believe it, and it certainly would not be encouraging me to upgrade with Ketron re Audya

How Audya take care of this s..t, it's verry bad for business ?

How Audya working for other peoples,is the keyboard / module works great, satisfied ?

i got the idea that Audya keyboard is beyound the competition, is it true (i know it's only opinion)

MJ, it has been documented that they've had a few problems. Mine, on the other hand, has been great. It sounds great, has tons of features I want and has not faltered once.
Ketron has always made good modules for many years. I used the Midjay for more than a year, along with an external control keyboard.
A lot of guitars players use XD3 and/or SD3 to accompany themselves.
I know Frank V. uses his a lot and has had no problems either.
I previously had X1, SD1, and SD5 as well. No problems with any of them.
