thank you AJ, any plans for a 61 key audya type arranger in the near future? The SD5 is about 3 + years old now.

My sources say that the soundboard will be upgraded which older boards can upgrade too. so that more samples memory can be added.

I'm not sure if that will include new loops or just sound samples.

As for the speakers, I will try to do a comparison with

RCF
Mackie
Thump
Bose.

I will let you guys know if I think it's worth the money or not.

i think the new AUDYA, be it 61key, (SD5 replacement), or module,

will have:

USB 3.0
1TB HD
2GB RAM
"old" AUDYA sounds + some new killer modern sounds.
many new styles
brand new guitar, drum & bass audio loops

As long as it has those killer styles that's all I need. As far as everything else I can work around. I just hope they can drop the price abit.

A new Audya isn't coming. A new 61-note board and a module are coming, plus an upgraded sound board that will allow more memory for samples.
