I don't think we can expect much at all this year. Yamaha has a replacement for the current YPG635 called the YPG645. The picture looks like there is a slight cosmetic change and maybe a few new buttons. There is also a replacement for a portable PSRE413 call the PSRE423. Yamaha has just changed the MAP price for a YPG635 from $899 to $799 beginning Feb 1st.
I don't expect anything new from Roland based on conversations I've had with Roland sales reps, but maybe Roland will surprise us. Korg hasn't said anything but they just released the PA50sd which is the same PA50 that used to have a floppy disk and now has an SD card slot. They've also released different ethnic versions of the PA500 the past few months.
Ketron is not going to attend this NAMM show.
Casio will showcase their new Privia Series and their home versions which I believe are called Celviano Models. There is a version of the PX130 and a version of the PX330.

That as well as financial travel constraints is the reason I've decided to sit Winter NAMM out this year. That said, I'm going to miss not seeing Tapas, Mdorantes, and Frankieve there. Got a phone call yesterday from Tapas' who's at CES in Vegas right now, so really looking forward to his full report on that, as well as reports from the others when they're at NAMM next week. - Scott

For: 2010 Winter NAMM Attendees that have an iPhone or iPod Touch:

Available for D/L from the Apple iTunes App Store (you'll need iTunes installed on your computer for the following link to work):

iPhone Namm Show App $1.99

FollowMe 's latest: "2010 Namm" app allows you to navigate the showroom floor like a pro with interactive maps, search the exhibitor directory, and create your custom show schedule by choosing sessions you want to attend and speakers you want to hear.

Here's a YouTube demo of FollowMe's similar app for CES. I personally think these apps should have been sponsored and paid for by the vendor-manufacturers, but at $1.99 it's not gonna break the bank, and beats hauling around the bulky NAMM directory book around with ya all day at Namm.

On another note, here's a link to: Yamaha's 2010 NAMM coverage
