On the s900, there is no light to tell you that you yes/no have Vocal Harmony invoked?

There is something else that bugs me on s900 but at the moment, I can't think of it.

What did they fix, what is the difference other than some new styles and new sounds?

There is also no dedicated button for vocal harmony on/off. You must either assign it to a foot pedal or open a screen.

I thought of the other thing that bugs me... the music stand is TERRIBLE. Who engineered this? The tabs that hold it in go less than one half inch into the slots. I can't believe they let that get out the door. Like the vocal harmony thing... what were they thinking, that is really dumb!

Bill,

I think the S910's biggest improvement over the S900 is the LCD display--you can actually see it from any angle, it's bright and the colors are brilliant.

As for the other stuff, I'll show you some workarounds when I get to Shreveport at the end of the month.

The lack of a light for the harmonizer on/off is a limitation instead of a bug - even though this limitation bugs me a lot.

The music rest was fixed. Yamaha put rubber strips on each side of the music rest so that it stays stuck in the keyboard.

They fixed that if you accidentally press the INTERNET button instead of EXIT, you can exit out in just a few seconds instead of about fifteen seconds.

And an added feature for the s910 is it plays mp3 files, s900 does not.
