What do you use to carry your cables around? I use approximately 30 cables of assorted lengths (most between 20' and 50') on a gig and am looking for something with wheels and relatively lightweight (not a hard case).

I would really appreciate any links or leads.

Thanks!
Chony

I use a luggage bag with wheels and a handle. I wrap up the cables nicely since when you walk with it everything is at the bottom. Still works fine though.

WHAT! You old wusses use wheels!? I still use the battered old suitcase witht the sliding ratchet locks from the days of yore in my youth.

Oh, sorry, this isn't the 'Mine's Better than Yours' thread.

I use a canvas bag and just throw it on the cart.

I'm using a Gator G220 bag, but I'm running out of room. I used to use a large Rubbermaid bin and I'm thinking of going back to a smaller one. What takes up space are the pedals and strips - hard stuff. And of course we gotta have those emergency extras...

Since streamlining my system the only cables that are not permanently connected to my console are carried in the L1 Compact's cover bag, which is very small. 30 cables is a lot of cables, however, if coiled loosely and independently secured with a Velcro strap, most, small bags should hold them with no problem.

Cheers,

Gary

I use my wife.
she carries the ac cable in her purse and carries the keyboard with a shoulder strap.
Women don't get hernias from lifting
That is the only cable I use anymore
