Hi
It's been a while since I posted but I am now ready to buy a sound mudule that I can operate with my Roland PK-5 MIDI bass pedal board. I am mostly interested in playing country styles like the Ray Price type songs where shuffles styles are prevalent. Also George Jones, Allan jackson stuff.
Any suggestions? I was leaning on the Midjay Plus before but still undecided.

The Ketrons have more than anything else I've heard. Midjay or MJ Plus would be great for what you want.
The Midjay doesn't have many styles on it when you get it, but they are readily available. All the SD and X files work fine.

I have a PK-5 and based on all the MIDI capabilities it has, I think it would work with a Ketron.
BUT, I don't have a Keton, so I would suggest you downlad the manual for which ever Ketron you think is going to work and look at the MIDI control capabilities to see if the PK can work with it the way you want.

What are you using the PK-5 for? I used it on a PSR machine and it was a pain to set up each time.

Sorry for the SPAM, but as a money saving alternative, I want to sell my WK2MA.

Here is a link to info: WK2MA It is in like new condition, has all expansion options installed (internal hard drive, vocal processor/harmonizer, S-Video output) and comes with a custom gig bag. Plus the entire library of style disks.

If interested, you can contact me via the e-mail address in my profile.

Best Regards,

Dave
