Thanks for the "heads up" at pgmusic.....I was hoping to find a good functional used one that perhaps somebody is willing to sell.

My primary and only use, would be to use it as a sound source, for smf's.

Good luck on finding a used SD-2, they appear occasionally, keep your eyes peeled in all the appropriate places and be prepared to pounce because the things are VERY popular due to the way they sound.

I sold mine recently to a friend of mine here on the forums, you cant really find them used,
they are very cheap, 300-400$ and noone is willing to sell them as used machine.

You are right, Nedim. I sold one of mine only because I didn't need two. The downside is accessibility, but for SMF and used by a controller, you would have to have good VST's to beat it. I have a Receptor and a huge library, but the SD2 has the modulations and articulations ready to go.
