I kind of like the form factor on this. Mixer goes inside one speaker, cables in the other, both speakers lock together, handle at balance point. For you low volume OMB's, this might be a good PA...

Buyer Beware I had a Samson Expedition Pa a few years ago...used it once and dumped it immediately....these Sam Ash knock off low end units are easily one of the worst units I have ever heard....horrible sound. Samson anything isn't in my vocabulary or in my arsenal period. I'd really be careful before buying.
I will say this their RUBICON line of Monitors are a great bang for the buck! I bought a pair from Frankieve last year ...

Well, a few years ago, quite a lot of things sucked... Podium have proved that good sounding plastic speakers CAN be made quite inexpensively, so let's not go all Kingfrog on this thing until someone hears it, eh?
I happen to think that it won't satisfy many, but OTOH, some like Logitech's here, so the bar ain't really THAT high! I merely liked the look and form factor, and will wait to judge until someone I trust actually tries one...

Definatly a ripoff of the Yamaha Stagpas. I had a small Samson powered mixer I used a lot and it has become the speaker demo mixer in my local music store. Its on all day, every day so I guess some of Samson's stuff is OK. Sort of like Beringer-quaility control is getting better. I've become a big fan of Carvin LM's. Light plastic cabs with Neo magnets and they kick a**. Very good customer relations too. Made in USA if you can believe it

I'm a Samson dealer, which is is under the Zoom header and I prefer Samson to any Behringer stuff, it holds up and sounds pretty good.
Samson I would have to say is probably the best of the low-end stuff even getting into the higher end. I use their Rubicon ribbon tweeter monitors for my home studio and for my keyboard demo area.
I heard them at NAMM, and it's really pretty good sounding for all things considered.
